Has anyone gotten auto-create periodic vertices to work in ICEM? I'm specifically speaking of v14 -- I can't recall it this option was available in previous versions. There is no help documentation for this feature and am currently looking at a blocking topology where it would be SUPER useful.

I mean, are any of these requirements (tolerance, associations) documented anywhere? The only error meshing I get is "auto create periodics failed".

No, I think it was a new Beta feature at 14.0... It was not supposed to be released, but something went wrong with the beta flag that was supposed to hide it.
Since it was not release, we didn't do all the normal QA, DOC, etc. If it is not working for you, I suggest using the "create" option to create the pairs manually. Best regards, Simon

I seem to have a challenge with association of the periodic vertices to the geometry vertices..they seem to "run away". See the picture. I cant seem to figure out what the issue is.
Someone to help. |
