Hello,
I m working in reactor which is a trancated cone .I did this geometry in design Modeler, and now I try to do a structed meshing in ANSYSMESHING.In fact I have ,at first, to define tow inlets (tow sufacies) ''entree1'' and entree 2 .For this ,I use intersection between different part in the bottom of the trancated cone in order to defines these inlets ,and after that I use some booleens to unit some bodies. But in the ANSYSMESHING I have some places where it is not a structed mesh. Thanks |

If you want to have hexahedral mesh then you can include 'method' and then select 'Hex Dominant'. This should force ansys meshing to include hexahedral mesh elements as much as possible.

I have fixed the non structed mesh, but now I have some places in the geometry which is not mapped , I tried to use 'Face Meshing' but I didn't succeed I get message text told me that the selective body meshing is not being recorded,so the meshing may nt be persistent on an update .And finally I have something represinting in this picture.
