[ANSYS Meshing] # of elements decrease with increasing pipe length? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

pyroknife Member Join Date: Jan 2013 Posts: 39 Rep Power: 13	I am using ANSYS Workbench to mesh my pipe. I am using a cutcell mesh with localized sizing (on the fluid domain) and inflation on the pipeline wall. For some reason when I increase the pipe length, I generate less elements using the exact same settings. This doesn't make any sense to me. My guess is that some of the settings are on "default" and "default" can vary from time to time?
