Hello All!

I am new to ICEM, before I worked with Gambit only. My question is - what is blocking for? So far I have generated mesh without blocking, boundary conditions I created as new parts in a tree. So when should I use blocking?
I know it is a bit a noob question :P

Blocking is for creating Pure Hex mesh.

Without blocking you can't create hex mesh. You created tet mesh.
