I am having some problem while importing a mesh to fluent from ICEM. After converting the 2D hexa mesh to unstructured mesh when I import it to fluent, somehow the Bocos only include inlet and outlet, and not the walls.
I searched for similar threads on this forum and found out the problem is I have associated same edge to two groups of curve ( walls and inlet). But the suggested solutions (like splitting the edge) is not working for me. Is there any other way to solve this problem without further splitting the blocks? Please help me with this. Hi Abhinav,
as you might know, all boundary edges have to be associated to curves to export a fluent mesh with a complete boundary mesh. I would suggest to associate a seperate edge to your inlet and an other edge to your wall curve. Check if the inlet and wall curve are not grouped. I haven't tested it, but this posibly could blur your boundaries. (Curves are grouped automatically when an edge is associated to more than one seperate curve) Another simple check, did you inlcude the right boco file? Maybe the included boco file is just faulty. |

Thanks Sebastian.
Splitting the edges was not working but associating edges separately to different curves worked. |
