I'm planning to do a 3D simulation of a vortex generator on an aircraft wing.My professor told me that I would need different input conditions for the vortex generator as it causes changes in the normal flow. How do I get these input conditions and what exact conditions is he talking about?

I read a few papers on simulation of VG and all they do is give an inlet velocity and the usual to the entire domain.
