Hi guys, I'm new to fluent and I'm trying to make my geometry by the use of Workbench. I have a simple geometry including two cubic plates, one above the other. The top plate made by concrete and the bottom one is full of air. The problem is when I make these plates by EXTRUDE option, I will have just one body that is not correct, because I have two materials, so I should have two bodies. How can I make two separate plates with two bodies?
Besides this, I would appreciate if somebody could kindly give me a good reference for learning workbench, Thanks

Hey!

when extrude your parts, use "add frozen" instead of "add material"

and best reference for any software is the manual of that software! use ansys documents! it's almost comprehensive!

Thanks, I followed according to the FLUENT manual, so I make the first sketch, then EXTRUDE it to build the first plate. Afterwards make another sketch and EXTRUDE it for building the second plate. However after making the second plate, I have only one body.
Regarding the MANUAL of the Workbench, there is no HELP option when I am making the geometry by Workbench.
I already have the manual for FLUENT, but I could not find the manual for Workbench. Thanks again for your help.
