Hello everyone,

I tried to block the attached geometry which is very detailed and faced some problems which I could have avoided in advance but have not due to the fact that I am a complete beginner. Unfortunately I have very little time left for producing a valid result and the geometry is too complex to start again.
I am aware of the fact that there might be blocking-strategies that more efficient than the one I used

So my questions are:

- Is it possible to even out the mesh in any other way besides adjusting the number of parallel nodes per edge manually or change the blocking in a significant way? I have tried using global mesh params already but the result is not satisfying and I guess it will not by using part mesh setup too.

- Do you have an idea how to change the current or start a new blocking around the ultra-thin slit in the middle of the geometry and while avoiding the strong rise in mesh density due to shorter parallel edges?

- Will CFX solve a mesh which contains refined blocks 2:1?

Unfortunately I cannot upload the geometry or blocking files since they are to to big

I am sorry for any language problems.

Thanks in advance
