Hi.
I am trying to mesh the enclosed geometry. I have specified the Hex dominant method. Now I would like to control the size of the cells. Globally I have specified a max growth rate of 1.1 and a face size way smaller than the large cells in the enclosed picture. I have also tried to apply body sizing as a separate step or specify it in the methods panel. Why is Meshing ignoring my body sizing request? Is their an other way I can control it? BR Joakim |

it is ignoring your body sizing because some surface/corner it is not able to mesh with given sizing.
Have you given "HARD" or "SOFT" Behavior in your sizing? |

You can try using a lower 'Max Size' or impose 'Body Sizing'. One of these might help.
