The advanced inflation options can be made available in ansys meshing by selecting 'yes' from the view advanced options in the details tree of mesh.

But when a face or body is selected and inflation manually added to it, this option is not available.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi Hwet,

The pictures you provided are not for the same details.
First picture is "Details of Mesh" which you get when you click Mesh for its properties.
Second Picture is When you Insert Mesh>Inflation which is "Details of Inflation"
This is why you are not able to see "View Advanced Options"
Click on Mesh to see its properties and I am sure you will find the option.

Cheers

Yes, so if i change the advanced inflation settings from details of mesh, without actually generating the inflation from the details of mesh tree (where you have the option of program controlled inflation as well), and generate the inflation mesh from insert-> inflation where the advanced option is not available, will my mesh still have the advanced settings from the details of mesh tab?

hope i make sense.
