Hello everyone,
Does anyone know can I do some geometric parametric study (change in length, width, height etc) in Ansys workbench without making the individual geometry? I came to know about design point, but I guess this works for same geometry with different parameter (I am not sure though). Regards, Tanjina |

Hi Tanjina,
In Geometry you will see White rectangles next to your Length, Width, Height Etc. Click on it and "P" will appear. This means the values is added as Parameter in Workbench module. Now when you go back to Workbench you will see one more Row is added in your Component system named as "Parameters" which is connected to your Parameter set. Double Click on Parameter Set and it will take you to All parameters and Design Points where you can change the values of Length, Width, Height Etc. to get new geometry. And yes you are right, these Design points are for same geometry and different parameters as you require. I hope I answered what you asked. Cheers KAPI |
