Node number reduction from edge to edge in ICEM

Hi,

I am trying to have one edge with larger number of nodes while keeping the opposite side edge small in one block. This is all in 2D. How do I go about doing this in ANSYS ICEM?

If you can't picture what I am trying to do, just imagine a mesh with 400 nodes on left side and 200 nodes in right side with uniformly spaced vertical nodes in top and bottom side. I know all the mesh lines have to connect but there's got to be a way to merge some of these lines.

This task is not possible within one structured block!

Coming up with something else giving a good quality mesh seems difficult.
Only one thing pops up in my mind... though, i don't recommend it:
2to3.png

Instead...create a quad dominant unstructured grid.
