cannot project edge (line) on the surface: "the result would be degerenated"

hi, I want to project edge (line) on the surface but i cant and i have error that is:can not project edge edge 157 at the given location becuse the result would be degerenated.
can you help me that how can solve this propbelm?and waht this proplem mean? |
