This is a cohesive heat transfer analysis involve several solid and one fluid region. Initial mesh was generated in workbench mesh. However mesh in the fluid region cause iteration problems. (See https://www.dropbox.com/s/5ga2bnep39tqkmh/1mesh-cross-section.PNG?dl=0)
So I imported mesh generated from workbench mesh into Fluent meshing (Tgrid), Used auto mesh to generate the mesh for the whole part. Mesh in the fluid seems better, But mesh in the solid is bad (See https://www.dropbox.com/s/r52q0u7iwpinv48/4.png?dl=0) Can I keep the sweep mesh in the solid and only remesh the fluid region in Tgrid? Or is there a way to generate sweep solid mesh in Tgrid? The solid parts and fluid share the same interface (identical surface mesh) for the purpose of cohesive heat transfer analysis. Thanks for helping! |

Advice on how to generate good mesh involve several solid body (rectangular shape solid except heat sink) and a fluid region for cohesive heat transfer analysis is greatly appreciated!
