Merge operation in DM causes geometry distortion

I imported parasolid geometry to Design Modeler, then created lines connecting solid models to form hub and shroud. Created two named selections that include these lines. Then revolved named selections and everything was fine. Then I used merge operation (before slicing hub and shroud surfaces and drawing sketches for exportpoints operation). So, merge distorted the line.
One can see green (desired) line on Pic.2 and yellow lines provided by merging. How can I avoid it using Design Modeler tools? |

I have moved this post to the ANSYS geometry and meshing forum.
