Hello,
Im new to ICEM, For my project i need to mesh a turbine blade with Y grid domain. I done the blocking with o grid. My idea is create ogrid around the blade in the volume (see pics). But edges in the o grid is meshing on the blade surface not on the volume so its creating two mesh on the blade surface. when i invsibled the o grid, the mesh looks better. My question is how to create ogrid in the volume and please tell if i made some mistakes in blocking.

Right now I'm meshing only the Rotor domain. There are 2 domain for this blade.

outer domain blocking

1)create basic block
2) split block>ogrid block > select front,bottom,back faces
3) delete inner block, now you're left with n shaped block. Associate big n edges to big curve, smaller n to smallest curve. create points evenly on the curve and associate it with vertices of the edges( 4 points on curve for 4 vertices of edges)
4)Split the block more on each side of your rotating domain, and another one at top
5)delete the inner block of your rotating domain, and associate the rest edges to the curves of rotating domain.
6) setting the edge parameter and check the quality.
