[ANSYS Meshing] Layering issue

Hello,


I have an issue with the layering function of Ansys. Here is my geometry:





Basically I want the green part to move up with a defined speed (the UDF works well), while the grey part remains fixed.



No matter the settings I try in the dynamic mesh options, I always get something like this:





The side cells are "stretched". I made the effort to split my geometry and make square cells just so it would be easier to do the layering, but it doesn't work.


What am I doing wrong?
