Hi,

I'm using a third party program to write a script to generate replay file with different meshing parameters. In some cases I don't have any preferred wall spacing and I don't want to have fixed number wall distance. Is there some mesh law where I don't need to define any spacing but still be able to use some growth ratio?

I have this line where I want the cells to grow by 20% from beginning towards the end. But for this to work I must define the spacing also.

For example, when using:

Edge: 49 42 -1
Nodes: 100
Mesh Law: BiGeometric

Spacing 1: 0 (Undefined)
Ratio 1: 1.2

Spacing 2: 0 (Undefined)
Ratio 2: 2

The result will give me a uniform distribution of the nodes.

Hello William,
you can define the spacing relatively. There is an extra checkbox to activate this feature. Then you should be able to define 0.2 spacing on one side.

With regards,
Sebastian

Yes, there is this "Spacing Relative" check-box. It doesn't seem to make any changes unless I define a some spacing, which I preferably don't want in this case.
