Hello!
I am working on a 2D simulation of an airfoil with a rotating cylinder.

Obviously, my geometry contains a lot of curves.

I am facing problems with these curves, when I generate surfaces for these curves, the resulting surface is not smooth and looks like a bunch of connected straight lines. (See attached image)

The result is the same whether a surface was generated from an edge or a sketch.

Is this normal? Or is this a problem that can be fixed?

Please help if if this can be fixed!

artefact. The level of magnifications you are looking with does not exist in reality. And every surface is not surface when zoomed at micro level.

This issue can be solved by increasing the pixels in the geometry graphics but that would unnecessary load on your computer display and it will start to freez.

In short it is normal and leave it there.

Thank you very much. I'm glad to know this is normal!

But I do recommend that when you mesh your model, do check that the mesh represent the geometry closely within the engineering accuracy level.
