Hello.

I have a STEP-model of a Primary Mirror for telescope, which has a honeycomb structure with many edges. There were 342 solid bodies after importing it in Design Modeler.
In a Model-tree of Static Structural ANSYS establishes many Bonded Contacts. If I try to generate mesh for the mirror with no specific parameters ANSYS does it.
Then I beforehand formed a Part in Design Modeler to avoid contacts. So, in a Model-tree of Static Structural there were no contacts in Connections. And in this cases ANSYS could not generate mesh. It tried to restart with several attemps at higher relevance, but the mesh generation was not successful.
In the 2nd error it was written: "The problem geometry areas might have been highlighted", but after switching to wireframe mode I didn't find some "bad highlighted places".
Does anybody know why ANSYS sometimes cannot generate mesh after forming a part from many bodies?
