Hello All,

Could you please help me to fill the attached flow channel structure to study the internal flow patterns. Thank you in advance

From the picture I can't see any complex geometry provided there is nothing inside the tube.

What exactly are you asking for? There are several (quite easy) ways to extract your fluid domain I'm sure you are able to figure out on your own.

Thank you for the quick response. Actually, I want to set two domains in previously attached flow channel. Internal domain for liquid flow and external is steel pipe with O,5mm thickness. But whenever I tried to fill, it comes as a single structure (please see attached image). Could you help me to create separate domains?. I tried split option, but it didnt workout. Looking forward to your reply

What tool are you going to use for meshing? In ICEM you can take your geometry as it is, manually define the enclosing surfaces of the pipe (liquid domain). Then set material points inside the pipe and inside the wall of the pipe. This will give you two domains to use for CFD.

If you want to mesh these regions separately, you can either play around with a larger cylinder and use some combine / boolean operation tool of DM or just create a sketch of a longitudinal cut through the pipe and rotate that around the center line.
