Hi all,

I am quite new to ICEM CFD.
I have to create mesh on a heat exchanger manifold geometry.
I thought to go for ICEM CFD Multizone approach. I see two options for Multizone in ICEM CFD (Please see the attachment)

1) 2D Surface blocking (followed by 2D to 3D volume fill)
2) 3D Multizone

Can someone tell me what are the differences between these two?
Thanks in advance.
