Hello to all!

Im a new user of cfd-forum and also a new user of Ansys.

Im currently working with Ansys Student 2019-R2

I'm trying to simulate a sudge tank cleaning and having problems with adding some surfaces..

First I divided the tank area and create two different surfaces for adding sludge and air in the materials
then, I draw a vertical pipe(in the same sketch) for the sludge draining, but I canīt create a surface as the error shows..

I Attached some pictures for better visualization.

I apologize for my bad english and for the so basic question, but I'm having trouble to solve this geometry..

Thank you guys!

Hello,

Are you using the Add Material option in the Operation tab?

Hello,

I am Still in the geometry process, the question is, the edges that compose the pipe for suction have a dark green color and I cannot define any surface.

The Materials definition goes on the fluent solver, isn't it?

Im still on Design Modeler

Thanks for the reply!

To generate surfaces you use a feature called Surface from Sketch in Design Modeler.
In this feature you have to input add material or add frozen
If you are using the add material change it to add frozen and your problem should be solved.
