How to draw a wavy wall in DesignModeler

Hello all
I am trying to draw a wavy wall in an enclosure using DesignModeler with a fixed amplitude A as shown in picture? may somebody guide me how I can do that? Mariam |

Hello Mariam,
There is no direct way to draw such a profile in design modeller ... In Spaceclaim you can use the build in equation function to create your profiles directly but not natively in design modeller . A walkaround would be to generate a text file with point coordinates of your profile (in matlab/excel for instance) and import the txt file in designmodeller. The structure of the text file should be abxyz a: group number (must be an integer >=1) b: point ID number (integer >=1) xyz: coordinates (depend on DM system units) Have fun |
