Hello everyone,
i am carrying out the CFD simulation of geometry where one of the area is very finely meshed whereas rest is coarsely meshed.
To carry out grid independent study, we generally increase mesh element size by factor of 1.5 to 2.
In my case, if i increase the mesh element size by 1.5 times, the no. of elements will increase tremendously.

Is it advisable to further refine the finer mesh area(and rest as it is) for grid independent study?
