Meshing stuck

Am doing the analysis of a ship in ansys workbench. The meshing gets stuck in 40% always. The model is a solid model which I thinned in geometry. The module am using is hydrodynamic diffraction. Why does this happen? I tried the same with some other surface model and it's meshing faster. But I need to get this solid model done.
Someone help! |

Hi Fathima,
Well with not a lot of information about the model / setup / pictures it's a bit difficult to figure it out. My guess would be that either the mesh settings / small errors in the geometry / to fine grid/ hardware w.r.t. your mesh size. For instance if you try to generate a 10M+ cell on a small laptop it can ran out of memory. |
