I'm creating the geometry of a room with a door, window and radiator. At the moment I have extruded an area of the square enclosure and specified that as either the door, window or radiator. This is now difficult to create a mesh for. Is there a way of just selecting an area of you square enclosure and using that as the input or output? This means or i'll have to do it mesh a cube.
Also, how would you go about making the mesh more dense at the sides of the cube? |

I changed the extrusions from 'add material' to 'imprint faces' whcih seems to help a little bit.
Would you say this is a sufficient mesh for my design? Bedroom 2 Mesh 1.PNG Bedroom 2 Mesh 2.PNG |

Sorry for reviving this old thread, I am moving soon to a new apartment and wanted to ask which tool are you using for the creation of your room? I and my girlfriend are living currently in an apartment with poor conditions and soon we are moving to 7 bedroom luxury apartment peter cooper village and there is a room that is not finished and we want to make from that room a gaming ps5 and Xbox one are for us and our friends when we will have parties. I would like to measure everything so we can fit a lot in it. Thanks in advance for your reply and stay safe!
