Greetings,

I am working on Vertical Axis Wind turbine.
I have designed turbine blade(planar surface geometry) in Solidworks and imported it into DesignModeler. Later I created a circular domain around it (made it into surface) and used Boolean operation subtract. But the outcome of the Boolean operation is not proper. I am not able to get the desired surface as the geometry gets distorted during boolean. Airfoil curve is not the same after Boolean subtract.

How to do boolean subtract without loss of geometry feature?

Airfoil surface is not proper after boolean

Thank You.

That could just be graphical.
What does it look like after meshing?

@evcelica Thank you and I have fixed it by changing the facet value.

But I am facing problem during meshing process. In design modeler the airfoil curve looks fine (first figure) with length 0.082326 m. But after opening the meshing window, the same airfoil curve gets modified(blue dashed line) somehow as shown in the second figure. The length also got changed to 0.082324 m. Due to this I am unable to apply edge sizing and inflation properly. Please suggest me a solution.

Perhaps a smaller mesh size in that region?
The mesher is going to defeature the geometry according to the mesh size.
Sorry, I'm not an expert at this stuff.
