Hello, i am new to ansys fluent and i am trying to solve some example, i created a geometry in designmodeler (elbow pipe). when i double click on mesh i got an error message ....( plugin error: no valid bodies found).

i remembered i changed the geometry properties to 2D before i started my design on designmodeler and i don't know if that is the cause of the error message.

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
This has nothing to do with Fluent. You have encountered an error in the general purpose mesher of ANSYS.
Probably, the problem you have is that you have surfaces while the mesher expects a 3D solid. Therefore, you need to merge your surfaces into a 3D solid.

Btw, you can do this in Spaceclaim easily. It is better than Designmodeler.
