Exclamation Error while importing CAD flow domain centrifugal impeller

Hello,

I am using Ansys Turbogrid to mesh centrifugal impeller. Importing the CAD fluid domain into turbogrid. Later, using the mapping techniques I have selected necessary edges and faces. However, it gives me error message stating ''Proflies could not be generated for the blade. This is likely because of gaps or hole in the geometry."

You help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have never imported a CAD into TG but is it correct hat there is no face at the leading edge? I can see the curves of the profile but no surface. At the trailing edge there is one modeled. Maybe this is the gap that is causing the error?

Hello,

Thanks appreciate your response. I have tried selecting all the edges for leading edge. However same error if popping up again

Also it does ask for leading edge so I suppose surface you cannot select it has to be edges only

Is it possible in your CAD model to draw a line from hub to shroud at the leading edge? Maybe TG can then recognize the leading edge better?

Zacko I have tried that out with creating another line and surface also for leading edge. However same error is poping up for every best attempt I do.
