Hi everyone,

I am currently scripting a geometry and mesh generation in ICEM CFD.

When I create the geometry I sometimes get the following error when creating a surface:
{Large aspect number in GM90}, srf.1

The surface is created from 4 curves. In my script I use the following command:
ic_geo_create_surface_from_curves PART srf.1 0.001 {crv.1 crv.2 crv.3 crv.4} 1

The surface is bounded by 2 curved sides opposite of eachother and 2 straigth curves.

The width is relative small compared to the length 10 w.r.t 86.5 mm.

I find this error very strange since, ICEM is able to generate the surface if the width has a smaller or larger value than the current set value... The length always has the same value.

Does anyone know the cause and exact meaning of this error?

Thanks in advance,

Regards

Can you post more of the script so I can try it out and reproduce this error...?

Also, have you used the programmers guide under help to make sure you are using the command inputs correctly?

Simon

Hi Simon,

Could you send me your email adres as a private message?
I will send you my script and geometry files so you reproduce the error.

Thank you very much for the help!

Kind regards
