Hi guys,
I am new in meshing-CFD so here is an easy one for you I guess.. I am trying to mesh a 2D nozzle in ICEM. If anyone is bothered to have a look, I have attached an image of the sequence of steps I followed, together with the final "mesh".. http://rapidshare.com/files/30637856...Steps.jpg.html The end result as you can see does not resemble a mesh at all (just a series of lines across nozzle)... Basically, after creating a bounding box I tried splitting the edges so that I can approximate the actual nozzle geometry before applying the mesh parameters using the curve mesh setup tool.. Using a very similar approach I managed to successfully mesh the same nozzle in 3d at ICEM.. Yet the 2d version seems to be more challenging for me.... I did search this forum for similar threads but did not really find anything of real help... Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks in advance!
