I am simulating a flow over a cylinder which is moving in the transverse direction of the flow.
1. I am using a 3-d mesh. I need someone to guide me as what should be the mesh stiffness factor because my results keep changing as the BL deforms. I am also not very satisfied with the mesh. I need a structured mesh. Which tutorial should I be referring to. 2. I was getting low values of displacement because of mesh stiffness value. When I changed it to 'increase near boundary', I got better results. 3. Now again my solution diverges when I am using Re = 200. Solution converged properly at Re = 500 but not at 200. Thank you. |
