Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and relatively new to CFD in general so i'm hoping someone on here can be of help! Basically I have modelled a wind tunnel (and car) and equipped it with all of the necessary boundary and continuum types (Velocity Inlet/Pressure Outlet etc) When I attempt to export my model to Fluent I get the following error: Boundary Entity "car" does not contain any valid entity and will not be written. I purposely did not mesh the car as it was my understanding that if I did not mesh it and set it's surfaces to "wall" Fluent would model the flow around the body-shape of the car? Having exported the model into Fluent and displayed it, the car appeared to have gone completely (I was expecting a white sillohuette I suppose). So then I attempted to mesh the car - exported it and the same thing appears to have happened! No car! I may be making some totally fundamental and rookie errors here so if anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated! Phil. |
