Hi guys,
I want to investigate the uniformity of the flow distribution in a network of microfluidic channels. This network consists of one repeating geometry that is interconnected through channels with each other (in parallel and in series) - complex geometry.
To reduces cells and time afford I was thinking about first modeling that repeating structure for different flows to get a correlation between flow and pressure drop. After that I thought about substituting this repeating geometry in the overall/full microfluid network with this correlation, meaning i wouldn`t have to model and mesh the actual geometry, if that makes any sense. Until now, this is just an idea and I would like you guys to advise me in terms of possibility and catchwords I can follow and read further to get a better understanding on how to realize this project before I get started. Thanks!

Andy
