Hi all,
I am dealing with heat transfer related to conduction in solid bodies and I wanted to solve this for transient temperature( here my boundary condition is only temperature hot and cold on either side of the wall), I have some temperature data's in my excel file, and I want to import it to Ansys workbench. I am stuck in this step, so could anyone can help me at this stage?? Advance Thanks for your help |

Hi,
If you need to apply a temperature variation that is “constant” over a surface (your BC hot / cold) you can insert a temperature BC and change the value to > tabular and insert your excel data directly. If you have a spatially varying temperature distribution that changes over time then you can use the external data module in Ansys Workbench and map it to the desired faces. Have fun |
