Hi,
I am trying to simulate the following case: A soil domain having two different layers of soil (thus 2 different thermal conductivities), which is being heated up on its top surface for a period of 3 years (transient simulation). However, the conductivity values are unknown. I have experimental measurements of temperature in 4 locations in the soil (2 in each layer with different conductivity), which I want to use in order to find the two different conducutivities using the "optimization" component. I think my case is quite similar to the one discussed in this forum https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/7...t-conductivity. However, I do not understand how can I calculate in CFD-Post the temperature at a point in a specific timestep and then export it in order to use it in in the optimization procedure. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Jannis |

Boa tarde. Eu consigo estimar o fluxo de calor com as temperaturas experimentais usando outro pacote computacional. Sobre a condutividade, acredito que seja possivel.
