Can anybody inform me why My "data file quantities" in Ansys Fluent is inactivated?
When I want to calculate my problem in Ansys/Fluent, I need to set the Data File Quantities for calculating the Nu and other numbers but this tab is inactivate in my Fluent. I uploaded the figure of my software here. https://pasteboard.co/JRGXfJ7.png ![]() |

Initialize the solution first and then the option will get enabled.

The data file quantities option is still disabled after initializing the solution. What can I do about that?

If you have Fluent then CFX is just 2 clicks away.
Actually, the CFX solver has been built into Fluent in the last few years where it has become the standard since it has superior stability over the older Fluent solvers. So, if you use this in Fluent, you are using CFX in the background already. What remains is the crappy environment of Fluent. It is time for a complete makeover. |
