My "data file quantities" in Ansys Fluent is inactivated.

Can anybody inform me why My "data file quantities" in Ansys Fluent is inactivated?

When I want to calculate my problem in Ansys/Fluent, I need to set the Data File Quantities for calculating the Nu and other numbers but this tab is inactivate in my Fluent.

I uploaded the figure of my software here.

I get the same problem. The tab is inactivate in my Fluent.

Initialize the solution first and then the option will get enabled.

If you have Fluent then CFX is just 2 clicks away.

Actually, the CFX solver has been built into Fluent in the last few years where it has become the standard since it has superior stability over the older Fluent solvers. So, if you use this in Fluent, you are using CFX in the background already. What remains is the crappy environment of Fluent. It is time for a complete makeover.

HOW to use cfx ..i tried but my data is not able to transfer ..can anybody help me with data quantities file ...i wanted particle diameter check

I had the same question, go to file>Preferences...>General
and put the "default format for I/O" on Legacy
after that, It would be ok
