Omega sst underestimating Cl of wing significantly

I've been running some simulations on an s1223 aerofoil in 3d, comparing different turbulence models to the experimental data. Both models showed reasonable correlation for most of the curve, at 200,000 Re. However, around the stall point, the k-omega sst model shows catastrophic underprediction that I did not expect. In fact I had thought the sst model should model the separation slightly better than k-e. Here is my graph:

Mesh refinement didn't seem to help. I have two symmetry conditions on either side of the wing, which is 33.625 inch span and 12inch cord. All second order schemes with no pseudo transient. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
