Hi,
I am trying to model a conical velocity profile as shown in the image attached. The flow enters the computational domain from a surface that lies in the XZ plane. The half cone angle is 30 degrees and the flow velocity magnitude is 45 m/s. The steady-state simulation is done in Ansys Fluent. In order to model this scenario, what should be X, Y, and Z components in the velocity inlet boundary condition? Any recommendation is much appreciated. |
