termal boundary conditions????

dear
i want to set a linear profile of temperature in a wall boundary condition.. in the boudary conditions panel..for a wall , i have only the possibility to set a constant temperature and i wand to have a linear profile.. can you help please?? |

I would suggest to use CEL. On the CFX Pre go to Outline menu. On the bottom left hand side you should see a tab called expression. Right click on that and click on insert expression.
You can insert an expression like (BCL-E^0.2)*257 [K] where BCL = Boundary's length. Once you create that expression you can use that expression to specify a profile. When you are specifying temperature, you should see a small button right next the value box. if you will click it you should be able to select the expression you just created. I hope this helps.
