problem in simulating porous drying process

i am using fluent to simulate a air drying process of a piece of cotton.
i have tried to simulate the whole setup with a fan a some volume of area. but my computer is too slow to calculate that huge amount of meshes. so i decided to remove the large volume of air and the inlet, with only a thin layer of air, setting the air to be a constant high temperature, simulating the constant hot air flow around the cotton. the water can be vaporized and come out to the thin layer of air, but now the problem is, the vapor accumulate in the layer of air. (i have tried pressure-oultet for the surface of the layer of air, but the rate of vaporizing water still slow down at the early state, so i think it fails) in real case, the vapor should be carried away almost immediately by the air flow. can it possible to set the condition as the vapor come out of the cotton, it disappear? or how can i set the vapor to get out of the air much faster? thank you for paying attention to my problem. and sorry for my poor english |
