Hello,
when i extrude a volume is there a way to separate the edges with wich i start from those edges of the extrude volume ? The Problem occurs, when i want to extend a nozzle for making a volume out of the extended part, wich doesn`t work because i cannot span the volume without extending my original nozzle, because the edges are not separate. Maybe someone has already worked with the example injector of AVL FIRE M and is able to help me out. Thanks in advantage |

you can define selections on your edges... highlight them and do copy paste... by this way you get new edge mesh which contains only the edges from your selection.
to extrude mesh in one direction you can define face selections on outer face, activate only this selection and do enlarge extrude. after that you have to join both meshes and perform conform connect. |
