Hello everybody,

Thermophysical models and properties > liquids and gases > Initialization; for this panel the only option available is manual initialization for my model. Why code initialization is not possible?

on this panel there are two tabs-flow conditions and turbulence. Do I need to specify velocity, pressure, temp.,estimated Max velocity and turbulence in this panel considering my run is initial,i.e. not a restart. As per my understanding this values specify condition of cylinder before starting piston motion. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Please Please Please help.

Thanking you.

For transient run, like boundary condition, user has to provide initial condition. Initialisation by the code only applies to steady flow. The velocity, temperature etc specified by you will be used as the starting condition
