Hello,

i am a mechanical engineer Student. I have to demonstrate a simple Simulation of a 1d heattransfer in Excel with 10 Gridpoints.

The equation is aP*TP=aE*TE+aW*Tw
ap=2*aE; aE=aw

The equation should be solved by the thomas algorithm.
I have typed the following equations into an Excel file and activated iterations.

r1=c1/b1
ri=ci/(bi-ai*ri-1)

q1=d1/b1
qi=(di-ai*qi-1)/(bi-ai*ri-1)

Ti=qi-ri*Ti+1

But the Problem is that the values are not correct. It would be nice if someone could help me out.
