i am a beginner with CFD and i want to make a pipe with a leak in it and i dont have any idea on how to make the leak on the pipe?
do i make a hole in the pipe or what? i tried several ways but they were all bad and i didnt get reasonable solution. do i need to refine my mesh after i do the basic mesh or no need? thank you. |

make a pipe of dia 0.5 m and length 5 m. and fill that with fluid ( if you are using design modeller )
then try to make a part extrude at middle of the pipe and m=name it as outlet 2. solve the problem. then go for much more accurate value. if you want any help contact : dimensiondesignanalysis@gmail.com |
