Hi
I'm simulating with OpenFoam a swirling diffusive flame, I decied to test two different turbulence model, the standard k-epsilon and the RNG k-epsilon, the fields obtained are very different. It is possible to see that RNG simulations are very unsteady, while for the standard case in the same conditions the fields are steady and now my question is why it happens? I don't expect this big difference between the two model simulation. I use uRANS technique for simulation. |
