Hi
I used monte carlo radiation model. After 831 iterations I got ERROR #666000005. Further solve shows following: Too many iterations while using Monte Carlo. | | This may possible be due to: | | 1 - Highly reflective walls | | 2 - Small absorption coefficient | | 3 - Symmetry planes are too close, i.e. 2D geometry | | 4 - Geometry specification error Can you suggest how can it be resolved? regards Mvee |

Firstly, are you sure you need the mote carlo model? Often the discrete transfer model contains the essential surface to surface heat transfer physics and it is much simpler to use.
If you are sure you need the Monte Carlo method then have you considered the suggestions made in the error message? |
