I have a component that I entered a volumetric Heat Rate (W/m3) into. I am trying to find the correct calculator in the CFX-Post to show me the total Heat rate in the component (Total W). I am not seeing this as one of the possible variables.
Am I missing something? |

Source terms are not output to the results file. To view them, generate an additional variable defined by a CEL expression, and use the same CEL expression you used to generate the source term. Then this additional variable will be visible in post processing.

I am very new to ANSYS. Could you elaborate a little more on how to do this. I can create an Additional Variable and give it the value [W]. Then what?

The CFX tutorials describe how to set up additional variables.
