Hi all !
I have a problem in posing a fixed temperature (Dirichlet boundary condition) on the No Slip Wall (Wall boundary type). In CFX-Solver Modeling Guide in section "2.7.5.2 Fixed Temperature" is said about heat flux (not constant temperature) and a reference to CFX-Solver Theory Guide is given. In CFX-Solver Theory Guide (Release 11.0) I find : "Static Temperature is specified at the wall boundary" BUT I can not find where should I specify this temperature (please, see attached file). Is it possible to pose a 1st type boundary condition on a wall in CFX? if yes, than Please explain me the steps I have to follow in order to pose a 1 type boundary condition on a No Slip Wall (Wall boundary type). Thank you in advance! |

Under the tab boundary details, you can specify the fixed temnperature. You may first have to go to your domain and choose the thermal energy model, not isothermal.
